Service pack 2 was signed and released on the 4th of August 2004

Windows XP Service Pack 2 Properties

This service pack was later replaced by Service Pack 3. You can get the SP2 WindowsXP-KB835935-SP2-ENU.exe update  here.   To obtain later and earlier SP packs see the XP Archive page here.

It is important to note that this release requires atleast SP1 or SP1a installed before you can install SP2.
